I love these cookies! They are sooo good & always come out perfectly done. Evryone I've ever made them for compliments them. (The only problem is it makes 10 dozen, althought I guess that could be a good thing....) I got this recipe from Joanne Fluke's book Peach Cobbler Murder.

10 dozen (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Melt the butter.
  2. 2
    Mix in the white and brown sugar.
  3. 3
    Add the vanilla, baking soda, salt and mix.
  4. 4
    Add the eggs and stir it all up.
  5. 5
    Then, add half the flour and all the chips and nuts.
  6. 6
    Stir well.
  7. 7
    Add the other half of the flour and mix.
  8. 8
    Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheets.
  9. 9
    Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.

    Allow them to cool for two minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.

    I'm a huge Hannah Swensen fan, and I was so excited to make these cookies. Unfortunately, they were just OK for me. They spread way too much and I just hate that. The flavors were great, though. Probably won't try this again, but it was a fun experiment.
