By: Melly2
Aug 29, 2003

Melt in your mouth delicious. Can also use Twinkies instead of Snickers and use same directions.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • Snickers candy bars
  • funnel cake mix
  • frying oil

Directions

  1. 1
Push popcicle sticks into Snickers bar from the bottom about half way up.
  2. 2
    Freeze Snickers until frozen solid.
  3. 3
For the funnel cake batter, you can either buy the mix at the store or make your own batter (there are several one's on recipezaar).
  4. 4
Dip frozen Snickers into the batter.
  5. 5
Fry in hot oil until golden brown (just a few minutes).
  6. 6
    Remove from oil and drain.
  7. 7
Top with powdered sugar or caramel sauce if desired.

Deep fried candy is an awesome idea! I wonder if deep frying M&M's is a good idea too!
