This was sooo good. I didn't have any onions so I used a little bit of onion powder instead. I sauted some fresh mushrooms instead of buying canned. My bf thinks this is the best burger ever.

These burger rock, Cher! I sauteed fresh mushrooms and I added green onion to the mayo mix, other than that, I didn't change a thing and they were just outstanding. Very much like something you would find in an upscale bistro. We really enjoyed these, the flavors just worked perfectly with the smoky flavors from grilling the burgers. We will have these often - thanks for posting!

These burgers are SO GREAT! We loved these. I did cut this by half as there are just the two of us. We ended up with 3 burgers, leaving one extra for us to fight over. I made this exactly as stated, except I used sliced, fresh mushrooms, instead of the jar mushrooms. Really easy to make recipe, that raises the usual backyard burger to a whole new level! I will definatley make these again.
