Low Fat Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie
Lemon-Garlic Chick Pea Dip with Veggies and Chips

This is a good, hot dip that is very versatile. Instead of 1/2 cup red hot sauce, I used 1/2 cup Herdez salsa and a few dashes of chipotle sauce, plus a small can of chopped, green chiles and salt to taste. The dip was really tasty when it came out of the oven, and I took it — with tostadas — to a shop to share with friends who are the owners. We all loved it!

This was a fantastic dip! It had just the right amount of heat and the flavor was perfect. Made for Jeff's cookathon...hope you feel better soon!

We loved this recipe! In fact, the boys and their dad loved it so much that I had to head back to the kitchen to make another batch the same night. We are not a big 'dip' family, but this one sure went over well. It is a bit spicy, but not so spicy that your mouth burns for 2 hours. Because not everyone can appreciate heat, I suggest that you start out on the conservative side and add more heat to suit your taste.
