I modified this recipe slightly from one I found on the Today Show website. If you're a chocoholic, this is the shake for you!

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

1 cup chocolate ice cream or soy ice cream
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup chocolate milk or chocolate soymilk

Directions

Combine all ingredients.

Start blending on low speed gradually increasing to high and blend for about 3 minutes.

This can be dairy-free if soy milk and soy ice cream are used!

The first time I made this, I found it slightly too sweet, so I omitted the syrup and used vanilla ice cream instead and liked it better this way. Thank you for the recipe.

Thank You for the recipe..if I can not get Mark to eat he sure will eat anything like this..Hope you all know how much it means to me to have recipes here that he will drink or eat. I did not change anything on the recipe..I had all the ingredents for it. Easy fast and great tasting.

CHOCOLATE LOVER DREAM... Wonderful! I knew it would be! The consistency is perfect because the ingredient ratio is perfect. Not too thick or too thin. I made this with chocolate ice cream and then with vanilla frozen yogurt and they both came out extremely chocolatey...hits the spot. Thanks!
