Certainly the taste of this is FIVE STAR. The crystallized ginger and orange are delicious. For me the ingredients were off, and the first time I made this it came out like a flat rock. The second time I used 3/4 pint of tea (1 1/2 cups, very strongly-brewed with four bags) and 1 3/4 cups flour, plus added one tsp. baking powder and it came out perfectly after one hour of baking. This is more like a bread than a fruitcake; it's truly delicious and different; try it...you'll like it!
