1 cup (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blanched almond
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten

Directions

  1. 1
    Put almonds, sugar and butter into food processor.
  2. 2
    Process until almonds are finely ground, scraping bowl as necessary.
  3. 3
    Add almond extract and 2 Tbl of the beaten egg white.
  4. 4
    Process until mixed.
  5. 5
    Stor in airtight container in the refrigerator until needed (up to 1 week).

    Bring to room temperature before using.

This is delicious and so easy to do. I used it to do Almond Crescent Rolls Thanks for posting this recipe I'll do it often for many desserts.

    Loved it! This filling is so good it's hard not to eat it up before using it in your pastry. I used it in La Mexicana's Rosca De Reyes (King Cake), delicious! Thanks Unknownchef86!

    Great recipe! I used this as a filling for Coconut Cake with Coconut Syrup #28041 by Mirj. I caught my mom eating the leftover filling with a spoon. It's very good! Thank you for a wonderful recipe.
