Dad's Butter Chicken

An all time favourite. Very rich, very good, very soon to be gone!!

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cook onions in butter for 20 minutes or until soft.
  2. 2
    Add garlic & ginger and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. 3
    Add tomato, jalapenos, & spices and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes.
  4. 4
    Stir in tomato paste, then add chicken (uncooked) and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes.
  5. 5
    Add yogurt & whipping cream and cook over low until butter comes to the top (about 1 1/2 - 2 hours).
  6. 6
    Serve over Basmati Rice.
