Curried Couscous

SERVES 4 -6 , 4 -6 dishes (change servings and units)

    Ina large saucepan, combine chicken broth, raisins, curry powder, and salt and bring to a boil.
  2. 2
    Remove from heat, and stir in couscous. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. 3
    Fluff with fork and cook uncovered.
  4. 4
    Combine oil, lemon juice, sugar, and almonds and toss with couscous.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle green onion over top and serve.

    Tasty way to serve couscous! Did follow the reviews and didn't add any sugar. Did use the lemon juice - because I LOVE lemon!! Thanks!!

    After reading the reviews I left out the oil and the sugar, but I did keep the lemon juice, which I'm glad of. A very tasty recipe. Thanks!

    Thanks for a nice cooscous side dish. I added a crushed garlic clove at step # 1 and it was the only change I made. The toasted almonds are a must because they gave the dish crunch and texture.
