This is just plain good. I cannot remember where I had found this recipe, but I thank whoever came up with this!!!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper to taste (not included in ingredients above).
  2. 2
    In a large skillet, melt butter and cook steaks 2 at a time on medium-high heat until browned on both sides, about 4 minutes for each set of steaks.

    Reserve drippings in pan.
  4. 4
    Arrange steaks on a platter and keep warm.
  5. 5
    Into pan drippings, over medium high heat, add remaining ingredients; stirring often to losen brown bits on bottom of skillet, heat until warm.

    Pour over steaks and serve.

This was good! And easy! I let it cook down a little, and although it never thickened, the sauce was great!

    I wish I could give more stars. Man this was good. Super easy too. I doubled the sauce (less the pepper) and then added a touch of Cornstarch at the end to thicken. I served this with Stuffing. Thanks. It was Super Yum.

    This is an easy and excellent recipe. My husband, who is an extreme food critic, gave rave reviews and asked that I serve this again!! I doubled the recipe first-time on a chance, and will probably do it standard. Just a tip — on doubling, I would not double the pepper!!

    Outstanding dish. They had cube steaks on sale this week and I got them just to try this dish out and ohhh I am glad I did. It was very easy to throw together and quick which was good since we were hungry. Made with mashed potatoes and I doubled the sauce as suggested by others and was very good with the potatoes. Thanks so much Michelle S for posting this recipe.
