This was big hit in our family. I made it to go with All Purpose Crock Pot Chicken #150. I did use brown rice and it turned out very creamy. My 6 year old self proclaimed rice hater ate it. I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day...it reheated beautifully. Next time I will use long grain white rice. I also want to try Basmati rice...I'm sure it will be good. If you like rice and garlic this is a recipe to try!

Very good, nice and garlicky with good texture. I was glad that it made plenty as I usually try to make extra rice and use the rest for other dishes. I used this to accompany Gazpacho Shrimp Saute, both dishes made for PAC Spring 2009. Lovely recipe, thank you!
