This didn't taste much like teriyaki even with the addition of brown sugar as suggested by others. Even using light soy sauce it was too salty for us. But I did like the method of slow cooking since it made the meat nice and tender. I'll likely use this method again but use a different sauce.

This was very good, my whole family enjoyed it. I added some white wine to the sauce over the meat for extra flavor, and thickened the leftover sauce with some cornstarch to pour over the meat, and served it over rice. I think next time I will add some red pepper flakes to give it some zip. Wonderful and easy recipe!!

I loved this recipe! Since others suggested it may be overly salty, I added about a tablespoon of brown sugar, and cooked it on high for about 3-4 hours. The flavor was wonderful and it was even better the next day!
