These are a good way to kick up the taste of plain nuts. I used dry-roasted peanuts because I couldn't find the cashews. I cooked for exactly 2 hours and a few nuts around the edges were burnt. I also felt they needed a little more spice, so I sprinkled some cayenne and salt over the batch after cooking.

Awesome nuts! Dh raved about them! I used Kittencal's Chili Seasoning Mix and regular cashews not dry-roasted and unsalted and they came out great! Will definitely be making this one again! Thanks, Auntie Jan!

Very good and easy. I added some habanero powder to really kick it up some!

I made a half batch and they disappeared quickly. I do recommend checking occasionally and stirring to prevent burning. I added a pinch of cayenne. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
