Easy and tasty dessert that doesn't heat up the kitchen, but smells heavenly! Very cobbler-like.

I really wanted to like this recipe as I am trying to find uses for my crockpot. This tasted fine but its consistancy is more like a flan or bread pudding which did not go over well with me or my family. If you don't mind the mushiness of this i say go for it! Otherwise, we will not try this again.

Boy did this make the house smell great while I was holding an open house. I did add about 1 cup of frozen blueberries and it was a great addition. The texture is much more like a bread pudding than a cobbler to me, but very goos nonetheless. I did cut back the cinnamon to a 1/2 teaspoon per the other reviewers and was pleased with the choice. I will make this again....maybe I'll try adding some frozen rasberries next time instead of the blueberries. A light dollop of whipped cream is all this needs.

This is an absolutely yummy recipe. It was the first time I'd made a dessert in my crockpot and my family thoroughly loved it. In fact my teenage son was raving for more. I did adapt it slightly in that we don't have a great selection of peaches so I used canned peaches. I drained them and then mashed them up. And of course I had to double the recipe as I have a large family. And with growing teenage boys that like to eat.. Anyway thanks Bekah826 for the recipe.. missviolinist

this was pretty good. I was in a major bind for time, and needed something to feed a crowd. So I used 2 lbs of frozen peaches, and 2 lbs of frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, and marionberries). This is way more fruit(approx 4 times as much!) than the recipe calls for, so I doubled the "cobbler" ingredients. I wanted it more fruity than "cobbler" Served it hot with whipped cream.
