Crock Pot (Slow Cooker) Baked Beans

Recipe #327569 | 6¾ hours | 35 min prep | add private note

By: Jessica Hoylman
Sep 27, 2008

I received this recipe from one of my great friends. I love to take these beans to a potluck. You can also use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce instead of ketchup for a different taste.

SERVES 10 -12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Cook ground pork sausage on medium heat until done in a deep sauce pan.
  2. 2
Once fully cooked add raw bacon pieces and onion into pork.
  3. 3
Saute together over medium heat until bacon is cooked and onion is soft (about 15-20 minutes).
  4. 4
    Add to crock pot.
  5. 5
Add the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot and mix well.
  6. 6
Simmer on high for 2 hours and then low for 2 hours or you can cook on low 6 hours.
  7. 7
Corn starch may need to be added for thickening. Just take a few tablespoons of corn starch and mix with a little cold water (1/4 cup or so) until smooth. Gradually stir into bean mixture until blended.
