Crock Pot Ravioli

Recipe #64138 | 4¼ hours | 10 min prep | add private note

This is a recipe that I adopted from a sweet chef by the name of CBW. A real doll. "I always plan a crock pot meal for Sunday afternoon so that it's all ready after church, and I wanted something different than the chicken we usually end up with. This was a big hit!"

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Pour about half of the pasta sauce in the bottom of crock pot.
  2. 2
    Add frozen ravioli.
  3. 3
Pour additional pasta sauce, tomato sauce, water, and red pepper over ravioli (I usually pour the pasta sauce on first and then shake together the tomato sauce, water, and red pepper in the empty pasta sauce jar to mix them).
  4. 4
    Sprinkle Italian seasonings over sauces.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. 6
Turn crock pot on low and cook for 4-5 hours (until ravioli are tender).

This was very easy just as all the other reviews have said. I made a double recipe using cheese ravioli. I enjoyed this and so did my pasta night friends, but I think it was a little bland for my taste. In order to really give the recipe some flavor I think I would definitely use a home made pasta sauce in the future, or at least add some onions, mushrooms, and fresh herbs to the sauce. Thank you though for posting this easy way of cooking my favorite food!

This is delicious! I doubled the recipe and included both cheese and beef ravioli. There wasn't a single ravioli left in the crock pot at the end of dinner!

Very simple and tasty! Only used 1/2 a teaspoon of red pepper gave it just enough kick for use. Didn't use the Mozz used fresh Parm and Romano cheese instead. It was very good! Thanks colorboyswife

Not only was the recipe delicious (I used Reggio's frozen meat ravioli from my grocer), but it was the easiest dish I've ever made! My boyfriend said this one's definitely a dish to repeat. (I should think so - he had three helpings!)
