Great flavor! The consistency was a little thinner than I prefer, but that is just my opinion. We've had this on several occassions at my house.

I've never eaten a chili dog, or canned chili, but this sounded so tempting that I tried it yesterday on a snowy, relaxing day. I used Hormel chili without beans and Campbells cheddar soup, and Ball Park Fat Free hotdogs. I ended up just simmering them on the stove for a few hours since my crockpot was at another house. I put mustard on the bun first. I have to have mustard, then the chili, onions, and cheese. Very good. Thanks for the neat idea.

OMG!!! These are so good! At first I wasn't sure how these were going to be better cooked in the crockpot than cooking everything separatly (the usual way), but something AMAZING happens in the crockpot when it is all cooked together. Ultimate comfort food. I will be making these again.
