I prepared this exactly as written but I'm afraid that four out of four adults at my house did not really care for this at all. I was really hoping everyone would, especially since Sweet Baby Ray's is my favorite bbq sauce.

Wildflour, I think you're one of my favorite 'zaar chefs! Your recipes are simple, hearty and just a little different. They accomodate my pantry very well, allowing for my own little tweaks and adjustments. This was a recipe I wasn't sure about, but decided to give it a go since I had everything on hand. Wasn't crazy about it at first, but, by golly, it grew on me! It's even better the second day, if you can make it last that long. And I'm thinking it would be great with some sharp smoked cheddar and maybe a chipotle pepper. Thanks for sharing!

The whole family enjoyed this recipe. I used a smoky-flavored barbeque sauce, which went well with the bacon. My cooking time was about 20 minutes longer...this could have been because I cut the potatoes into 1" chunks instead of slices. Overall, a keeper. Thank you very much.

This was really a delicious potato casserole. DH just loved it and said I had better save some for tomorrows dinner. I made a gravy from the bacon grease and DH used it over the casserole. He is a potato and gravy man by the way. I used a bbq sauce that I got from our local produce stand and it really added a nice flavor along with the ingredients in this recipe. It is really a different way of fixing potatoes cause I have never thought of using bbq sauce in a casserole with potatoes. Thanks for sharing this delicious casserole! Its a keeper.
