I think this is a neat recipe, but I had lots of problems with my muffins crumbling and falling apart. I only was able to get one muffin out intact. I used Jiffy cornbread mix and 3 hot dogs (so they weren't overloaded). I had never used Jiffy mix before. I will try again using another mix or homemade. Roxygirl in Colo.

My family loves this! We don't eat meat anymore but we used it to make veggie dogs and it was great!
