Copycat Olive Garden Chicken Vino Bianco

After much searching, this copycat Olive Garden recipe was found on the Web in response to a request.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Heat oil in non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 2
    Season chicken strips with salt and pepper' brown strips in hot oil and remove to a plate.
  3. 3
    Stir in onions and garlic and cook until tender; then stir in mushrooms and cook until golden.
  4. 4
    Stir in wine and bring to simmer.
  5. 5
    Stir in tomatoes and return to a simmer.
  6. 6
    Season with salt and pepper and return chicken to pan; cook over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken.
  7. 7
    Finish sauce with cream and parsley.
  8. 8
    Serve warm over pasta of your choice.

Not sure how this compares to the Olive Garden original, since we've never tried it, but we thought it was yummy!

    This was great! I added extra wine and cream because I like a lot of smother. My DH loved it as well.

    Excelente, the only change for me was the white wine, instead I used a White Zinfendel. It was delicious. Thanks
