I wish I could write a review on how this dip tasted but my guests all devoured it before I got the chance to taste it. So thusly I am going to make it again so I can try it. I really like the fact there is no heavy mayo in the recipe, it sure smelt and looked tasty my friends thank you!!

I've not tasted the Applebee's dip but my daughter has and loves it. She loves this tasty version (so do I) just as well and is thrilled that I found such a similar recipe. No-Cream Alfredo Sauce #128560 (kept at thick consistency) worked excellently as one ingredient in this Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

This is a very nice tasting dip. I'm not a big fan of strong tasting dips and tried making a different artichoke recipe I ended up thorwing out for that reason. This one is not too strong and not too mild and a great one to fine tune later to your own tastes. Changes I Made: For the alfredo sauce all I used Bertolli Mushroom Alfredo. For the spinach sinced I made half the recipe only I used 1 (14 oz) can of spinach drained very well. That amounts to a little over 1/2 a cup of spinach when drained which was perfect. For the cheese I used a grated Italian mix which had both cheeses in the recipe and one extra, I think it was agasio. Definite keeper, Thanks!
