College Sandwich

A sandwich that is theoretically free (there is tution to pay) if you have a meal plan or a friend with a meal plan who is talented at stealing loaves of bread and bagels from the cafeteria and dormmates who leave their doors open. Active work time does not include obtaining ingredients.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (available from your cafeteria. Best smuggled out in your bookbag)
  • 2 slices American cheese (available from your cafeteria. Remove all mold. Choose slice best uniform in colour)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (from your roommate or dormmate)
  • 2 tablespoons cereal (available from the cafe or your roommate. Choose on your sweet preference, the kinds with marshmallo)
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips or chocolate (available from the dormmate who keeps getting packages from her family)

Directions

    After obtaining all ingredients incident free:.

    Set one slice of cheese on bread.
  3. 3
    Smear peanut butter on cheese.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle over cereal peanut butter.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle chocolate over cereal.
  6. 6
    Top with the remaining slice of cheese.
  7. 7
    Top with remaining slice of bread.
  8. 8
    Microwave for about 30 seconds on a microwave safe device.

    microwave safe device hahahaha that was great!! paper towels have served my friends and me well for this purpose though we can hardly sneak food out of the cafeteria, they usually catch you stealing it and are asked to put it back lol

    Thanks for the great laugh. Brought back so many memories of smuggling food out of the dining hall in college. We used to smuggle out whole picnics!

    Gotta love the way this was written! Gave me a good nostalgic laugh. We used to love those packages from home to sneak (steal) into. Only problem was, I was getting packages too! Somebody on floor nine at Husson College adored frosted blueberry Pop Tarts as I got a box each time and never got 1! Not just a package of 2 was taken but the whole box, box and all! Now I live in Morocco and not a Pop Tart in sight. LOL!
