This is wonderful for keeping your shower curtains clean from dirt and mold. Cook time is wash cycle.

1 clean shower curtain (change servings and units)

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups laundry detergent
1 1/2 cups baking soda
1 cup vinegar

Directions

Washing Plastic Shower Curtains- Put them into the washing machine with two large bath towels.

Add detergent and baking soda.

Then pour in a cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle.

Hang up the curtains right after washing and let them air-dry.

I have long washed the plastic shower curtains in the washer with 1 cup of vinegar, but after trying this, I will use your way. Your way doesn't leave any streaks and seems easier with the addition of the large bath towels. Just an excellent way to clean the curtain. We clean ours about once every three weeks. Excellent! This combination of detergent and baking soda plus the vinegar in the rinse cycle does a FANTASTIC job!!! It looks brand new - Thanks for sharing.
