Reduction of whole apple cider to a syrup

4 c (change servings and units)

Directions

    Bring cider to a boil and add vanilla bean, split open along the length.
  2. 2
    Cook until it has reduced to a quart or less, your choice how thick you make it.
  3. 3
    Remove the bean and pack into jar and store in refrigeration. May be used on french toast, pork roast, acorn squash, etc.
