I love Chuy's dip and wanted a recipe. I took all the recipes I could find, bought some of the real stuff and made a bunch of batches. This is the closest i could get. No one can beat the real thing. You can adjust the jalepenos according to your taste. Also if you want a smoother texture, everything can be thrown in the blender after step 1. The longer is sits, the hotter it gets.

This dip is awesome, it was a little spicy but that is a good thing since it was the only thing keeping me from eating it like soup! I left out the green chilies and used some leftover sour cream instead of some of the mayo. Thanks!!

This is an excelent dip. It tastes very close to Chuy's. I think Chuy's is sour cream based though. But this is very yummy!

Pretty darn good! I ran out of cilantro so could not add the full amount, which may have been either a good thing (as I don't like cilantro a lot) or a bad thing (as what I did add tasted good). I also didn't add as much salt as indicated--just trying to be a bit healthier. Thanks for sharing.
