Everyone else reviews these so highly that i can't help but wonder if it's "just me", but these just don't do it for me. There's something about the texture that i didn't like, they were bland and more dry-crumbly than crispy. My son concurred that these were merely "ok", and we won't be making them again. Sorry.

These cookies are delicious. The nutmeg is what makes them so good. Highly recommend this recipe.

Nice cookies. They are rather crispy, and I found if I baked them for 12 minutes, it was really too long, so I stopped at 10 with the second batch. The dough is really nice to work with though for using cookie cutters and I prefer the taste to a plain old sugar cookie.
