This same recipe has been in my family for over 40 years and these are wonderful! Be sure to add plenty of green coloring. We wrap these individually in Saran to store and place on goodie plates too so they stay fresh. I highly recommend these Wreaths!

I'm probably one of the few people in the world that doesn't like rice krispy treats or even marshmallows, but these Christmas Holly Wreath Clusters are fantastic! I was sneaking bites right out of the pot. Yummy. I found so many versions of this recipe that I didn't know which one to make but this recipe came the closest although I did change a few minor things. I used 34 marshmallows and added 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. I didn't want mine to be light green so I just kept adding more and more food coloring until I thought the color looked good. My batch cooled rather quickly in the pot so I didn't have any problems burning myself while forming them. As a matter of fact, both batches I made were cool enough that I used my hand to dig out the amount I wanted for each cluster. I did use Pam spray. I sprayed my whole hands the first time but only my fingers after that. I did need to spray about every 2 clusters. UPDATE: This recipe isn't for Christmas anymore. I made them in the shape of hearts for Valentine's Day!

I can't believe I've found this recipe. I remember living in Southern Illinois and making these with my best friend. I must have been about 9 or 10. Her grandmother helped us. I stuffed my face with these wonderful gems. Now I can make it for my kids. This is the best Christmas Cookie.
