Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Directions

    Mix oil, chocolate, sugar; blend in eggs.
  2. 2
    Add vanilla, salt, baking powder and flour.
  3. 3
    Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
  4. 4
    Preheat oven to 350F and grease your cookie sheets.
  5. 5
    Roll 1 tbsp dough into a ball and roll around in powdered sugar to coat.
  6. 6
    Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

    Remove from baking sheet and cool.

    We love these! I halved the batch and got 2 1/2 dozen cookies using a teaspoon full of dough rather then the suggested tablepsoon ~ I mixed up the dough and refrigerated it and within an hour it was firm enough to start rolling. I bake them for 10 minutes and they seem to stay soft and fudgy without drying out. Simple and delicious! Thanks for sharing this keper

    I LOVE these cookies. This is exactly the same recipe as my mom's...I request these every year for Christmas. Note — these go stale very quickly, so you may want to halve the recipe if you're not going to eat them all right away.
