When making these goodies, you might try injecting the strawberries (before dipping) with a touch of an orange liquer or your favourite.

These are wonderful!!! This is the best recipe for chocolate covered strawberries. I just love the ease of this recipe. I prepared my choco mixture in the microwave, it was PERFECT. I nuked the mixture for 45 seconds, stirred it, than i nuked it in 10 second intervals making sure to stir. I stopped microwaving once the ingredients were almost melted i just stirred the rest of the way to ensure the choco did not burn. Dipped the berries and placed them on foil (didn't have wax paper). It took about 45 minutes for mine to set up but these are so beautiful i would wait all day if i had to. I used Ghirardelli 3/4 c. semisweet choco and 3/4 c. dark chocolate for the recipe (since my mom loves dark chocolate). Not only beautiful but delicious as well. If you want to impress your guests and family this is an easy way to do it. Thank you so much Karen =)
