A great cookie! I tried different mix-ins like M&M's and peanut butter chips. I made mine a bit larger so had to bake for 10 minutes.

These were absolutely fabulous. I made them to freeze but none made it to the freezer. Everyone loved them. I had to add more flour to get mine not to flatten out but I think thats my problen, not the cookie. I will definately make these again, maybe this time some will make it to the frrezer. I was able to get some to the freezer and they worked just great. I layered them between waxed paper in a cookie tin.

I made a huge mistake and these still tasted fantastic! I accidently omitted an entire stick of butter and didn't realize my mistake until I was ready to bake the cookies. (I was wondering why the dough was so stiff.) I decided to bake them anyway since I had nothing to lose. They were too hard once they cooled, but I am sure that was due to my mistake. The flavor was so good I will be trying them again soon (with correct ingredients).
