This was a huge hit at the bridal shower I took it to. None of it was left, and every bit of it was delicious.

It was late, and I needed to whip up a quick snack for Sunday school. I picked this recipe! I doubled the ingredients, and spread the dough into an ungreased 9" x 13" baking pan. After they came out of the oven, I covered the pan with a tea towel, and cut the bars in the morning. Dorel, these squares were so tasty, and preparation was a breeze. Thanks!

I love this recipe, and am glad I found it since my copy of that cookbook is missing! My only suggestion is if you want to make them extra-special, add a thin layer of "Skor" chips to the top of it. It's a lovely caramel crunchy addition. Very sweet though....
