I made this last night for a quick and easy supper and it was pretty good. I also needed to use up 2 cans of skyline chili that I had in the pantry, so I used them in this. This is the same way I make my chili dogs, and its great to incorporate it into a casserole. Next time I will toast my buns first before putting everything on top. The buns were really soggy after baking. I also recommend if you can get skyline chili brand chili, its the best to use. And use the frozen, not the canned. The canned always seems to absorb the tin flavor. Or better yet make your own! Super fast and easy recipe. It could be tweaked with very easily to add different flavors to it. I think it would be good with rotel tomatoes mixed in. Oh yeh, by the way, I added chili cheese fritos to the top, and thats what made it! I will make again for sure!

Tastes just like a chili cheese dog! Easier to eat, too! I'd add more onions next time and cheese. Quick and easy!

I love hot dogs and canned chili so this casserole was right up my alley. LOVED IT!!! Simple, easy and satisfied my craving. My husband, who is a little impressed with himself, rolled his eyes but once he dug in and started eating, he was won over. Thanks for the recipe, Yooper.
