I was going to give this only three stars. I definitely recommend cutting back on the cumin and chili powder. I made it exactly as the recipe calls, only cutting in half because I was just cooking for two. I put in about a quarter the amount of cumin and chili powder that it calls for and it still had too much. All you could taste was the cumin! It was still good but I hadn't planned on making this again, until I tried some the next day. The flavors blended perfectly and the cumin was no longer over-powering. It was fantastic. We wiped the pot clean. Next time I will make it the day before, still cutting the amount of cumin down though. Good base recipe. My mind won't stop thinkning about ways to eat this and things I could combine it with. Thanks for sharing!

Karen, your Green Chili Sauce with Pork creation was great! My DH who has been eating Mexican food his entire life really enjoyed it. Next time I will add even more green chili's (I underestimated the number of chili's I bought!) I actually made burrito's out of this. Just used a slotted spoon, spooned the mixture into the tortilla, rolled up and it was delicious. Thank you for sharing this with us.
