I made 3 different batches of this today. All without the parsley due to a "subconscious personal preference" which basically means I forgot to add it.
One as written besides that fact, then two more with miracle whip instead of mayo & hard boiled eggs, and one of those with celery & onions omitted because or nutrition reasons. They all came out splendid. Mayo being the best of course (that was mine!) I used chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts because we had a large pack left over. Couldn't taste any difference to me, and it was cheaper. Lovely taste, and wonderful smeared on saltine crackers!

I made this for my dh. Didn't try it myself b/c I'm a vegetarian but he really liked it. Thanks for an easy recipe!!

Ellie, this is very good and easy to put together. I really didn't measure the mayo. Did not have the dill seed but did have dill weed. Used about 1/2 tsp of the dill weed. This is a down to earth chicken salad recipe and the ingredients and flavors compliment each other nicely. Thanks for sharing.

I was looking for a no frills but delicious chicken salad and this is it! Very good and easy to put together. I added 1/4 cup of chopped onion but besides that left the recipe as it was. Delicious!
