Chicken Pizzola used to be my favorite dish when I went out to eat (before I started cooking). I was happy to find this recipe. I loved that it was so simple to make. I added a layer of pepperoni to the chicken after the tomato paste. I highly recommend this addition of pepperoni. Also, I used fresh basil from my garden. MaeEast, I would recommend this recipe to everyone! My BF loved this recipe. Yummm!

We really enjoyed this. I substituted some diced hot pepperoni for the ham, cheddar for the mozzarella and added in favourite pizza toppings including green peppers and parmesan. The result was just delicious, we will be making this again. Thanks for sharing the recipe MaeEast.

You did it again MaeEast, another great recipe. I am going to share this one with a friend of mine, whose husband really watches his diet because of a previous heart attack. This is such a healthy recipe! I will salt and pepper the chicken before adding topping next. The mixture that you spoon over the top is good just by itself.
