I found this recipe in my never-ending search to satisfy our family's love of Skor Bits.

48 cookies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. 2
    Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. 3
    In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended.

    Add eggs and blend thoroughly.
  5. 5
    Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
  6. 6
    Stir in toffee bits.
  7. 7
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet (I used ungreased parchment paper).

    Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Cool slightly, remove from the cookie sheet to a wire rack.

    Cool completely.

WOW! Mirj is always an amazing recipe source... thank you for that Mirj. I googled "toffee bits" and this was like the 3rd thing that came-up. As soon as I saw it was from Mirj, I decided to make it... didn't quite have 10 oz toffee bits, but I made up for what I didn't have in chocolate chips (using approx 1 c toffee, 1/2 c chocolate chips).

    One of my favs. Toffee rules!! I also like to throw in a cupfull of chocolate chips. The more chocolate, the better.

    This is a killer recipe! These cookies are absolutely delicious! I made them exactly as the recipe stated and I would not change a thing. You can't improve on perfection! Thanks for sharing Mirj! I wish I could give you at least 10 stars for these!!!!
