pre prep for any meat or veggie recipe make ahead batches to freeze I have stated making batches of green stuff for over 20 years to save time due to working over 40 hours a week make large batches for one time easy clean up saves lots of time over months and months of cooking

SERVES 20 -30 , 30 recipes (change servings and units)

    wash bell peppers and celery.
  2. 2
    skin onions.
  3. 3
    cut all in large chunks.
  4. 4
    put some of each in blender.
  5. 5
    blend till liquified.
  6. 6
    pour into ice cube trays and freeze.
  7. 7
    repeat till all are blended and frozen.
  8. 8
    put frozen cubes in zip lock bags.
  9. 9
    use cubes in beans, seafood or meat dish.

    What a FANTASTIC find here! I made a small batch to check it out but trust me when I say I'll be making a much larger batch! I used my Magic Bullet and it really saved on time and "crying" over onions. I have one ice tray full and I'll be making several more trays before long. This recipe would also be easy to tweak by adding garlic...which we love. Made for PAC 2008. Thanks Deb! (-:
