Cheesy Pepper Muffins Mix - Gift in a Jar

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
• 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
• 1/3 cup dry buttermilk
• 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes, green onion if you can find it
• 1 1/2-2 teaspoons dried red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS FOR RECIPE GIFT CARD

• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil

   Combine all ingredients and mix them together well.

   Pour into an airtight container, like a QUART mason jar and store in a cool, dry place.

   *DIRECTIONS FOR RECIPE GIFT CARD:* You can copy and paste this but you will have to adjust the spacing etc -- Add 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Place muffin mix in a large bowl and make a well in center of mixture. Combine eggs, water and oil, add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 3/4 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. Yield: 2 dozen.
