It's okay - I think I could have reduced the initial time baking the crust to 10 minutes, because when I finished the entire bake time the cheesecake portion was overbrowned in some areas. I left 1/2 cups for the top and it was fine, but didn't completely cover the top, which was fine by me. I added Reddiwhip and half a strawberry, though it did not satiate my cheesecake craving or DH's =P The kids were okay with them - only for the fact it had whipped cream, lol Thanks anyway

Easy and delicious. I added mini chocolate chips to the creme cheese mixture and toffee bits to the crumb topping. I also drizzled with a touch of caramel to make turtle cheesecake cookies.

100 stars! I am not a cheesecake fan mainly because I don't care for the richness of the cream cheese - my husband is a huge cheesecake lover - these are just perfect little "bites" that satisfy both of us - AND he can have as many as he likes! Changes I made were: lemon zest and sour cream (1/4 cup) - for the crust I added 1/4 cup oats and coconut for texture. I served the squares with strawberry sauce and whipped cream. By the way - they freeze very well. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Awesome and easy! Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I topped the cookies with cherry pie filling (from a can) to look just like yours.A tip, cut the cookies BEFORE adding the toppings. When I cut,it came out looking a little messy-but tasted deeelicious! Used lime juice instead of lemon- came out great!
