Cheddar Bar-B-Q Chicken Breasts!!!
SERVES 4 , 4 breasts
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- pre-cooked bacon, strips
- shredded cheddar cheese
- green onion
- barbecue sauce
Directions

Cover Chicken breasts with bar-b-q sauce and bake until done, usually about 15-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven (I don't pay attention to the time to much) When chicken is done pour on more sauce, add bacon strips to cover the breasts and cover with cheddar cheese, return to oven until cheese melts.2
Add sliced green onions and serve.

My favorite way to cook chicken! I don't normally add the green onions because I never have them lying around and it still tastes awesome!!

I cannot put into words how delicious this was. I will make this over and over again. The barbecue sauce that I used was the Dr. Pepper kind. Seriously, this recipe was out of this world. Thanks so much for posting!!

This is an easy recipe that produces a winner!!! Instead of baking though I browned the chicken breasts in the electric skillet then glazed with the BBQ sauce, topped with the bacon & cheese. I turned it down to a simmer & covered.(Too hot of a day for the oven) We were surprised at the wonderful smokey taste. I have made it several times since. Good job!!!

Isn't this the best chicken recipe ever? A local restaurant here makes this, using mozzerella cheese and adds mushroom...this is our favourite chicken dish, serve it up with cheesey garlic potatoes, garlic bread, seasoned green beans and a salad...YUM!
