Charoset is served at the Passover seder. This recipe is from the "Cucina Ebraica" cookbook. Times are guesstimates.

5 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pitted chopped dates
  • 1 2/3 cups chopped almonds
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 2 apples, cored and grated
  • 2 large oranges, juiced

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

    Stir, cover and refrigerate.

    Serve at room temperature.
