Campbell's Monterey Chicken Fajitas

You don't have to travel to Monterey, or even to a take-out restaurant, to serve delicious chicken fajitas.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    In medium skillet over medium-high heat, heat half the oil.
  2. 2
    Add chicken and cook until browned and juices evaporate, stirring often.
  3. 3
    Set chicken aside.
  4. 4
    Reduce heat to medium.
  5. 5
    Add remaining oil.
  6. 6
    ADD pepper and onion and cook until tender-crisp.
  7. 7
    Pour off fat.
  8. 8
    ADD soup and salsa.
  9. 9
    Heat to a boil.
  10. 10
    Return chicken to pan and heat through.
  11. 11
    Spoon about 1/2 cup chicken mixture down center of each tortilla.

    Top with cheese and additional salsa.

    Fold tortilla around filling.

Theses are great! I was a little skeptical to try it after I made it, but when I did I couldn't stop. They are very tasty!! my family loved them too!

    I made these for a birthday party I was having for a friend. They were wonderful! I just made the filling and put it out with bowls of sour cream, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and salsa. I let them make them however they wanted. They disappeared really fast! I will make this again, no doubt about it! Thanks for posting!

    I used the regular mushroom soup, was munching my way through and trying to decide if it was a 4* or 5* recipe, then DH pipes up 'mmmm this is tasty mother'..so that settled it!
