Cauliflower Gratine / Gratin

Mmmm! Another from Favorite Brand Name Recipe Cookbook.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower

  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed milk or chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded finlandia swiss cheese (any)
  • 1/4 cup buttered bread crumb
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions

  1. 1
    Cook cauliflower in boiling salted water about 12 minutes, just until fork tender.
  2. 2
    Drain and place in shallow baking dish,Combine soup, milk; stir in cheese.

    Pour over cauliflower.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle with crumbs.

    Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

    Ganish with Bacon.

Loved This! Superb flavor. It wasn't noted, but I cut the cauliflower into flowerets, and not sure what was meant by condensed milk-am assuming you meant evaporated milk-to be mixed w/regular..but I opted for the cream of chicken soup, since evaporated doesn't come in that size..
