This recipe has so many spices that I started keeping this mix pre-made. This mix recipe is just enough for one sloppy joe recipe (1 pound of ground meat). A lot of times I will finish the recipe and then keep the filling in the freezer.

We've used this recipe several times now and the whole family loves it. I usually use real green pepper though. Thanks.

I needed a quick lunch today before my boyfriend went to work, so I picked this... I used fresh onions and bell peppers and a very spicy chili powder. It was a very very spicy sloppy joe. I think this was because i over processed the onions and so the juice kept the heat going... In any case, the flavor was incredible and my boyfriend loved the heat. Definitely making this again!!
