Caramelized Peaches on the Grill

Comfort food at its finest! Perfect for those cool nights in front of the campfire as a dessert or a snack before bed. We like them for breakfast too!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

    Combine cornflakes, nuts, sugar and margarine.

    Fill centers of each peach half.

    Wrap tightly in aluminum foil.

    Grill over med heat 10-15 minutes.

These were good and quite easy to make! i made them on the grill. They turned out to be quite mushy. As the other reivewer wrote, the peaches turn out to be lacking in flavor. The stuffing still tastes delicious! i'll try cooking them in the oven next time see if it changes the texture. Thanks Laurie!

    Delicious! I used canned peaches in heavy syrup, but for whatever reason they were not very flavorful, even before cooking like this. This topping is delicious and goes with the peaches just wonderfully! Next time, I fix a little extra melted butter and brown sugar on the side and drizzle all over the peaches before putting the topping on! I did cook these in the toaster oven and they are so easy and tasty to prepare! Thanks Laurie!
