I tried this using a cantaloupe from my father's garden. The color was beautiful and cheery and the recipe was very easy to follow. It set up fine as well. The reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because I'm not a really huge fan of cantaloupe. I like the fruit and do enjoy eating it but the flavor of the fruit is intensified a bit with cooking so I think only a dedicated cantaloupe fan would truly love this. Aside from on toast and what not, the flavor could be appreciated if mixed with whipped cream and spread between layers of cake. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I found this recipe to taste great but it took forever for it to set up. I believe some of the instructions are missing. I had to add 1 1/2 cups more of sugar in the end to get it to set. It is a great hit with my family though.
