So excited to try this!!! I mixed this up for a box of betty crocker butter cake mix with pudding. I got 2 huge single-layer cakes. However, the moistness of having pudding in the cake mix was watered down. Will try again next time with a few teaspoons of pudding mix to retain the cake's moistness. Mthks for sharing this!!!

This turned out excellent. I used this extender to make a monster truck cake for my son's birthday. It was double layered strawberry & chocolate. I added some extra cocoa to the chocolate and followed the rest of the instructions exactly. The cake turned out awesome, huge, and delicious. I have never had compliments like this with cake. I wish I would have taken pictures of the inside before it was devoured, the think pink and brown layers looked beautiful. Thanks so much, I will never make a cake again without using this extender. Wondering how it would turn out with a brownie mix?

This is definitely a "Good Thing" I tried it with a devil's food cake. I did however add 1 heaping tsp. of cocoa to make sure it did not diminish the flavor of the mix. I also added all dry ingredients with dry cake and then all liquids. Thanks:>

This extender does wonders for a cake mix. I have always loved the convience of mixes, but was always dissappointed with the size of the cake. Well, this weekend I tried this on a layer cake, and no one would have ever guessed it was a mix. The only change I made was to sub apple sauce for the oil. Watching that fat you know. Anyway, thanks again. This is definately a 5 star tip.
