4 tablespoons (change servings and units)

Ingredients

2 teaspoons white pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground black pepper

Directions

In the container of a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients, and process on high speed until reduced to a fine powder.

Transfer to a container with a tight fitting lid and use as desired.

I found I was out of Cajun seasoning when I made Shrimpin Dippin Broth - Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. so made this. Very easy and makes quite a bit for future use. The cayenne gives it a good punch.

Also used this with Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta, Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta. Very nice, just the right amount of bite to it. Being salt-free is also a bonus!

Thanks Mitjam! I'd been looking for a good cajun seasoning, and this was terrific. I had it on skinless, boneless chicken breast done on the BBQ., sliced the chicken and served it on ceasar salad. Yummmmy!

Mirj, you were a life/recipe saver last night! I was making #39087 Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta by Lorac last night and realized I didn't have any cajun seasoning. So, I turned to zaar and came across your perfect recipe! Only made 1/4 of the recipe as that was all I needed for the dish I was preparing. Should have made more because the combination of spices was perfect. Thanks again Mirj for bailing me out at the last minute and will definately be making this $$$$ saving mix again. Agree with another reviewer that this sure beats buying the stuff!
