I really wanted to like this. The flavor of the sausage is yummy in it, but I just didn't care for the veggies. The tomatoes overpowered the cabbage, and they just combined to leave a bad taste in my mouth. My ods loved it, though, which really surprised me. He even asked for seconds of the veggies.

Thank you for this recipe!! My family enjoyed it. I spiced it up some by adding carrots, fresh parsley, garlic powder and black pepper. The smell was wonderful to come home to! This will probably become a family favorite.

Carol, this is a wonderful dish. We surely did enjoy it!! The sauce was creamy and smooth, and I especially loved the tomatoes with the dish. I didn't have plain cheddar cheese soup, so I added the new Southwest Style Pepper Jack Cheese soup, and I used a hot kielbassa sausage. I have to tell 'ya, it was really, really good. This is definately a keeper for me! We couldn't stop eating this one!!

My husband usually love this kind of dish, and I was excited to try something new and easy, but this was not to our liking. It was very bland and greasy. I think if I were to make something like this again, I would brown the sausage slices first to drain off some of that fat... Maybe with a few tweeks we could make something like this work, but as the recipe stands, it just doesn't work for my family.
