I used this when I made Mom's Chocolate Cupcakes and it was wonderful. I added the vanilla and milk in at the same time, then turned up my KitchenAid to a higher speed and whipped it really well for a few minutes. This was the best, fluffiest frosting I've ever had or made, and since it doesn't use shortening, I'm even more pleased to have this recipe! Thanks, Alia!

I made a half batch because I only needed enough to frost a batch of cupcakes. It was a good basic buttercream. Easy peasy and yummy.
